We would like to offer you a sneak peek behind the doors of the most famous film studio in the UK, Pinewood Studios; home of Britain’s most famous spy, James Bond and the out of this world franchise, Star Wars. Based in Iver Heath in Buckinghamshire, we invite you and a guest to come and visit the 82 year old studio. We cannot promise you access to any sets or stages, but will take you on a walk through history to present day. This is a VIP tour for two people, but may not be exclusive to you. The Film & Television Charity exists to help creativity thrive by providing financial and emotional support for people working in the film, TV and cinema industries, 24/7, at every stage of their career and beyond. Alongside grants and talent development supporting individuals and their families to overcome barriers, the charity runs the Film & TV Support Line – 0800 054 00 00 – a unique service providing free, impartial and confidential support 365 days a year on a wide range of issues, offering fast-track referral to legal and financial advice and counselling services. Topics that the service can assist with include harassment at work, support for anxiety, debt advice and addiction counselling.
The charity recently launched a ground-breaking industry-wide study, rallying those working in the sector to share their experiences and offering in-depth analysis of the wellbeing of the UK’s film, TV and cinema workforce and building a picture of how people could be better supported.
